Today we are joined with singer/songwriter Kasey Karlsen of Deadlands around the release of their brand new debut EP titled "SEVEN". The absolute hype of this release is astronomical and it is amazing to pick Kasey's brain at such an exciting time in her career. She shares with us how she used to rock out in her bedroom and dream about being in a band as a kid. We also learn how she found her voice and became a jack of all trades "Swiss Army Knife" of metal vocals and styles. Deadlands also recently dropped a single with The Pretty Wild and we get a behind the scenes look into that song Kundalini and making that music video with a bunch of live snakes. Lots of insight, laughs, and Kasey leaves us with advice for any aspiring vocalists wanting to turn their music into a profession.
