Today we are joined all the way from the UK with Sammy and Justine of the mega rising metalcore act Employed To Serve. Beyond us being into their music for the past couple years what we loved the most about this interview is learning their adorable origin story of being high school sweethearts. They tell the tale of how they met and eventually how the band came to be. We also learn about Justine's journey of finding her metal voice, and the evolution of their sound leading into their brand new album "Fallen Star" that features some heavy hitters like Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage, and Will Ramos of Lorna Shore. Fallen Star is now streaming and available everywhere this week. Around listening to this chat this is a must listen to album of 2025 and is an absolute heavy metal masterpiece.
This page felt really easy to settle into right away—no walls of text, just the main idea up front and you can skim without getting lost. I like when a site doesn’t try to be clever with the layout, and this one keeps the spacing and headings pretty chill. I ended up clicking into Drift Boss halfway through and it loads fast and gets you playing immediately, which is nice when you’re just poking around.
