This year at Toronto After Dark we had the pleasure to have a chat with French actor/songwriter Aminata Thiboult around her brand new film titled I LOVE PARIS. This movie is an unhinged mockumentary about a fame driven indy artist named Paris trying to break into the music industry in the midst of also turning into a vampire and having to navigate her new life of feeding off the living. What was surprisingly fun was learning that this film was inspired by Aminata's real life of being a singer/songwriter under the moniker Calamity. The I Love Paris movie is currently screening at festivals all around the world and the brand new Calamity album titled "cows & horses" is now available across all streaming platforms!
